Anders Fager is a Swedish horror writer and game designer. His short story collection Samlade Svenska kulter (Collected Swedish Cults) contains a series of interconnected Urban Horror / Cthulhu Mythos stories set in present-day Sweden. His fictional world, known as "The Cult's World", has been made into a role playing game and a graphic novel and is currently being turned into a movie and a theatrical play.

This play, which is called The Queen in Yellow, is based on two short stories (Miss Witts' Great Work of Art & The Queen in Yellow), both of which feature the performance-artist My Witt who is coerced into making "three great works of art" by the Carcossa Foundation. Her last "great work" involves her displaying the severed head of her husband live on Morning TV. This leads to her institutionalisation (under the care of the Carcossa Foundation) where she is subjected to inhumane tortures which ultimately turn her into The Queen in Yellow.

Outside of Sweden, Fager has so far been published in Finland and France and one story, "Mormors resa" (Grandmother's Journey), which won the 2010 Catahya Award for the best SF, Fantasy or Horror short story published in Swedish, was published in English in Cyaegha #5.
